New York - Highway Use Tax

The New York Heavy Use Tax is required for carriers based in, or crossing into New York operating with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of 18,001lbs or greater. Keep in mind this is based on your truck, trailer, and load capability - not scale weight.

Our legal department will complete the filing on your behalf. You will be sent an email requesting the information required for us to file. Once the information is received, we will complete the application and send it to the state’s department. You will receive confirmation once the filing is complete and your account is active.
